Things are moving along quite nicely in the backyard wonderland. Trees are in and we are ready for concrete firepit pad to be poured. Look!! We even used some pre fabricated concrete blocks to make a…. wall!! That’s going to make a nice seating wall at the fires edge. Man, it’s backyards like this that can take the edge off a crappy day! At least Dave likes it!

Tanner: Very funny guy and hard to make stand still. This shot was at 1/3000th of a sec frame speed.
Ed: 75 and can run the pants off any one of these young whipper snappers you see here. And is available weekends for birthday party’s and gatherings .

you know, I’ve never been a fan of manufactured rock. Probably because the colours are lame and they look fake. We recently stained some rock for a customer and are pleased with the results. Have a look see…:

a face rock stained
a manufactured rock waterfall stained. The idea is to use the correct dark stain, and acids to achieve the rust oxide markings in brown tones…. I think.
