you know, I’ve never been a fan of manufactured rock. Probably because the colours are lame and they look fake. We recently stained some rock for a customer and are pleased with the results. Have a look see…:
a real rock
a face rock stained
a manufactured rock waterfall stained. The idea is to use the correct dark stain, and acids to achieve the rust oxide markings in brown tones…. I think.

With the success of their first bistro at the ball diamond, the newer, larger location at the stadium looked to be too good to be true. The new location for the Hu’s asian bistro is ellice and king edward. Here, we ground and detailed, stained and sealed the old floors- into works of art! Our proudest achievement is the wicked water feature that greets you as you enter the vestibule. In this space, we were lucky enough to be asked to decorate the space as we saw fit: asian themed benches, planters, and decor.
**the columns in the water feature were done with nothing other than our carved vertical product we discovered this past summer
it was a blast!

at their newest location, we ground and stained the floor, did up a vestibule, made some furniture, and built a kick ass water feature!! Pics to follow when open in a week?

here’s how a couple of dudes (dude and dudett?) create a cool space for a bank!
the good guys
composed with cool acid stained planters, vases, vessels, and wicked landscaping! Its a space that shows a fence being built with some landscaping being done. It’s designed to get you thinking about taking advantage of that there home improvement intensive from the government boys. I know, it worked…..

This bookstore floor was the perfect location to create an old school floor which looks decades old. With just the right amount of grind coupled with the mottling effects of acid stains, this floor makes even the worst of cracks look like they belong there.
