Ok, ok. Before you start blowing a gasket…..We dug these drives 3 times as deep as normal to put a super well compacted base in.  Then, ran heat pipes that were tied on to the reinforcing steel.  The slabs had heated water and sand and a heated base and internal system.  Once finished, covered with poly and insulated tarps to keep the heat in.  Monitored over the weekend, the slabs never cooled below 12 celsius.  We then cut the drives into 4 foot blocks, and sandblasted the surface for affect.  Even in summer, we have never had a job run so smooth and perfect before!
